Buttercup Room
18 months - 3 years old
Our curious toddlers
Full of fun and discovery
Children start in this room from around 18 months onward and it is home to them whilst they are two. This is a bright, sunny room providing a place to explore and play with direct access to the garden.
The preschool has provided two year old facilities for many years and is constantly working to improve and develop its care of this age group.
The staff in Buttercup Room work closely with Snowdrop Room to ensure the smaller children enjoy a smooth transition.
We can accommodate up to 20 children in this playroom, using the garden continuously throughout the day.
Children in Buttercups can bring a packed lunch or have a preschool lunch (booked in advance) if they attend over lunch time. Breakfast, snacks and cooked tea are provided.
Learning Through Experimentation
At this age, children learn through experimentation; we like to think of this room as the science lab!
