Registration
We aim to make the preschool accessible to all children from the local community. Children will be allocated sessions as requested by parents, where possible. We are flexible about attendance patterns in order to accommodate the needs of individual children and families. In order to accommodate children on our waiting list, we reserve the right to limit the number of sessions any child may attend.
Wherever possible, and if financially viable, places may be kept vacant to provide for emergency admissions.
COME AND VISIT!
If you have any queries with regards to admissions or you would like to arrange a visit of the preschool, please contact our Business and Finance Manager, Lucy Whitney via the contact form.
INDUCTION AND SETTLING
Once your child is offered a place at preschool, you will then be invited to attend two settling visits shortly before they are due to start. On the first visit you will asked to stay and complete some paperwork. This will give you the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have and for them to play with the other children.
The process will be geared to individual needs. At the beginning of a new school term when we have a lot of new children we may stagger the start dates to ensure each child gets the care they require to make a smooth transition to preschool or take advantage of our year round opening and start them during school holidays - giving you time alone or with siblings.
- We accept children aged 6 months– 5 years.
- We accept children in nappies and pull-ups.
- Children will be eligible for 15 free hours per week in the terms following either their second, third and fourth birthdays.
Wherever possible, and if financially viable, places may be kept vacant to provide for emergency admissions.
